Chile’s “Grandfather of Flute” Fernando Harms studied flute at the National Conservatory of Music in Santiago, began his professional
career as soloist for the Philharmonic of Rostock, Germany. Mr. Harms retired from the Teatro Municipal Philharmonic of
Santiago in 1995 after 18 years playing principal flute. Mr. Harms began building his own headjoints in 2001 and flutes in 2003.
